Näyttely kutsuu lapset museon kummituksen avuksi tutkimaan teknisiä laitteita, tutustumaan keksintöihin ja lopuksi käynnistämään kummituksen kummallisen koneen.</p><p>Näyttely vahvistaa lasten omaa luovuutta, ongelmanratkaisukykyä ja kannustaa tutkimaan ja kokeilemaan. Näyttely kertoo keksimisestä teknologian lähtökohdista ja tekniikan muutoksen kautta. Utställningen är främst ämnad för barn mellan 5 och 9 års ålder. Här inspireras barn att undersöka och prova teknikens väsen, fenomen och förändring.</p><p>I utställningen studerar man teknik genom att titta, prova, öva och utforska olika museiföremål med hjälp av olika sinnen och verktyg. The Ghost requests children to learn about technology via play, mysteries, hands-on tasks and inventing.</p><p> </p><p>The exhibition includes different areas with different viewpoints into technology: essence of technology, stages of invention, values and relevance of technology, collaboration, Finnish inventions and changes that have taken place in technology in the long run. As a culmination of the museum tour children can switch on The Ghost’s Invention Device by using the new skills they have learned in the exhibition.</p><p> </p><p>The Ghost and the Invention Device is an interactive and child-centered learning environment that includes versatile learning methods.
